Vintage Ollendorff Watch, circa 1929-31

This is an excellent white gold-filled rectangular wristwatch from about 1929-31. A remarkably preserved piece with a very clean hinged case and nearly pristine extra-grade movement. Ollendorff was a finisher and much beloved producer of high grade watches that have been generally forgotten since the 1950's. Our watchmaker believes this is a "sleeper", not having brand recognition but definitely on the level with Gruen or Bulova, in the upper-middle to higher price range. The Ollendorff Watch Company was originally founded in1868 by Isidor Ollendorff in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
